Join us for a continuum-wide, team-based training, emphasizing that everyone who touches the resident/family experience matters. More than ever, adult children want an authentic, transparent glimpse of what life will be like for their loved one before making the senior living decision. Coupled with a growing hesitation to rely solely on the sales director, it's essential that the entire team is equipped and motivated to deliver that experience. It is also critically important that we understand the "facts" about our largely misunderstood industry that our customers need to hear to make the best decision for themselves and their loved ones. Join this seasoned sales expert as he reveals a proven, research-based approach to building trust and confidence of prospective residents and their families while driving occupancy and revenue results. There will be a small vendor show during this event - doors open at 8 am for attendees to connect with our vendor partners!

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY No refunds will be given for cancellations. Substitutions are accepted. However, if you cannot attend due to circumstances out of your control (such as exposure to/testing positive for COVID-19, a death in the family, or state surveyors in your community during the conference) and no substitute is available, a credit will be issued for you to use at a future LeadingAge Nebraska event.
HANDOUTS Session handouts will be available a few days prior to the event by email. Participants are encouraged to download and/or print handouts prior to arrival.
SPEAKER Michael Marlow has been involved in the Senior Living industry for over 30 years beginning his career with Hillhaven in Tacoma, Washington and has served in various senior level sales management and sales training roles with Brookdale Senior Living, Atria Senior Living, LCS and Watercrest Senior Living. These roles have ranged from Regional Sales Director to National Vice President of Sales. He currently serves as the President of The Marlow Group, Inc., a sales training and consulting company.
Michael is a nationally published author and frequent national and international lecturer with over three hundred presentations delivered to diverse senior living groups such as Leading Age, state Argentum affiliates and at many state and national health care conferences. He is also the author of an Argentum Best of the Best award sales training program in 2014. Michael is a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky and lives in Louisville, KY. He is married with two grown children - Bradley, a Physical Therapy Assistant at Beacon Orthopedic in Erlanger, KY and Jill, ODT, a Doctoral Occupational Therapist at Baptist Health Services in Louisville, KY. He is also the proud grandfather of six grand bundles of joy!
CONTINUING EDUCATION 7.5 hours of continuing education from Nebraska DHHS Regulation and Licensure, Board of NHA has been approved for this event. Appropriate records will be maintained for other disciplines to receive credit from their credentialing organizations. Nursing contact hours are not available for this event.
